The 2023 Latin Grammys are officially underway for the first time in Seville, Spain, and Rosalía had the honors of opening the awards show with a special performance. Rosalía is nominated for Record of the Year for “Despechá,” going against tracks by Shakira and Bizarrap, Karol G, Christina Aguilera, and Maluma and Marc Anthony. Last year, Motomami won four awards, including Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album, at the Latin Grammys. Fans can watch the 2023 ceremony as it airs live on Univision from the Fibes Conference and Exhibition Center in Spain.

To kick off this year, Rosalía released the single “LLYLM” and followed it up with several other songs, including “Tuya” in June and her recent Björk collaboration “Oral,” with proceeds fighting fish farming in Iceland. Rosalía also dropped her RR EP with her now ex-partner Rauw Alejandro.
