YSL RICO Trial: Heated Exchange Between Attorneys Caught On Camera During Livestream

The YSL RICO trial for Young Thug and his affiliates has been quite a circus since it kicked off earlier this year.

In the latest report from the courtroom, two attorneys got into an argument that, according to legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, got so tense that a sheriff’s deputy had to get involved.

In a clip she shared from the livestream for day 42 on Thursday (March 14), the judge told the pair to “take it down a notch” as they continued arguing, then specifically came for Fulton County Chief Deputy District Attorney Adriane Love.

“I know you’re being an advocate,” he said. “At some point, stop. Just stop. I made my ruling, good, bad, or indifferent to you. You’re gonna win some you’re gonna lose some.”

Later when Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel referenced “the rants of DA Love,” the judge also reprimanded the room for laughing.

“I didn’t ask anyone to laugh in the gallery. This is a courtroom. Not some entertainment forum for you,” Judge Glanville said.

Last month, a defense attorney for the YSL RICO trial was arrested in the courtroom on gang-related charges.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution was on hand in the courtroom when Nicole Fegan, Tenquarius Mender’s attorney, was arrested and charged with participating in criminal street gang activity and criminal solicitation to commit the offense of tampering with evidence. She had previously been successful in getting his case severed from the other defendants’ pending cases.

The charges, however, are not directly related to the YSL RICO trial. Rather, according to the outlet, Fegan was allegedly involved in an unrelated deadly shooting on the corner of Williams and Baker Streets in Atlanta back in December 2022.

According to the charges, Fegan allegedly told one of the shooters to dispose of the gun they used in the murder and allegedly contacted another defendant about an active warrant for his arrest.

Fegan was taken to processing in Gwinnett County, and was later transported to the Fulton County Jail — which, incidentally, is where the other defendants, including Young Thug, are being held.

She has since been released on bond.
