Scott Storch Sued For Defaulting On Installment Payments For Platinum Ring

Scott Storch is being sued by a Beverly Hills jeweler for allegedly falling behind on payments for a $71K platinum ring.

According to a report from TMZ on Thursday (February 29), Peter Marco of Extraordinary Jewels says the producer bought the ring in January 2020. But after making several payments, Marco claims he stopped paying in late 2021, leaving an unpaid balance totaling $65,500.

Documents obtained by the outlet show that Marco sent a demand letter to Storch in October 2023 and again this past January, warning that a lawsuit would follow if the request went ignored. Apparently, that’s exactly what happened.

Scott Storch made headlines last year after getting onto a heated confrontation with his ex-girlfriend’s partner outside his Beverly Hills home.

Jay Payd — a cannabis entrepreneur and rapper who owns the Payd Leafs rolling papers brand — documented his encounter with the producer on his Instagram Stories last May.

Jay — who is dating Storch’s ex Florence Mirsky, with whom the Grammy-nominated hitmaker shares a three-year-old son named Leo — began by sharing audio of an angry phone call with Storch.

“Oh, you tough now?” Jay asks the producer, who replies: “If you put up one video of me, you’re gonna have big problems, I’m warning you.”

After mocking Scott Storch’s past cocaine addiction by unearthing a photo of him looking worse for wear while out partying, Jay then posted several videos of their confrontation.

The footage shows Jay walking up to Storch’s driveway and seemingly kissing Leo who sat in a car, angering the producer. “Get away from my son! You’re gonna get fucked up later!” he can be heard shouting off-camera.

“You can do it right now, tough guy,” Jay says back, to which Storch threatens: “One shot’s gonna come check you out!”

Jay later films himself exchanging words with Storch as he drives away. “Look at this pussy ass n-gga. Why you running like a little bitch?” Jay taunts, which is met with a curt “suck my dick” from the former Roots keyboardist.

In another clip, Jay implies that he slapped Storch moments after this exchange, writing: “Right before the [open hand emoji].”

It appears the police eventually stepped in as Jay posted another video showing several officers outside Scott Storch’s home, accusing the producer of calling the cops on him.

Further taunting Storch, he later uploaded audio of an alleged phone call between himself and Mirsky in which he says: “Tell that old-ass n-gga I fucked his baby momma’s face last night and nutted in her mouth, and now she’s there talking to him.”

He also posted home security footage showing him greeting Mirsky and Leo, who he hugs and picks up, although it’s unclear if this was from the same day.

Scott Storch did not publicly address the incident.
