NBA YoungBoy Sparks Fan Concern With Cryptic Xanax Confession: ‘Please Help’

NBA YoungBoy has caused concern among his fans with a cryptic confession about his alarming Xanax intake.

A post was uploaded to the Baton Rouge rapper’s cat’s Instagram account, @neonceline, on Monday (July 24) expressing worry for his “unhealthy” and “scary” behavior, including taking 20 Xanax tablets a day.

“It’s me neon,” read the caption, which was accompanied by photos of NBA YoungBoy and his pet cat. “I been seeing a lot my dad so unhealthy it’s scary even his mental he blows his money making people smile who don’t care to see the signs that’s literally in they face 20xanxz a day please #help.”

It continued: “Ps. My bowl Celine and my first birkin. Bag otw …. But really matters him.”

NBA YoungBoy’s fans were given even more reason to be concerned when his cat’s account left a comment on the post that read: “He pissed out blood for 2 days straight that’s funny though ?”

The 23-year-old’s followers flocked to the comments section to show their concern for his health and wellbeing, as well as offer their support.

“Y’all inna comments talking bout the cat but literally ignoring his cry out for help ts sad he in the caption telling ya how he suffering and all y’all talking bout is the damn cat,” one person wrote.

Another added: “Y’all laughin at this man, but yet he’s litterally dying infront of our eyes?, ‘there’s nothing we can do’ say prayer, Show him love, this man come from the bottom of hell fr, he’s one of tha few that made it, he’s human tho.

NBA YoungBoy has alluded to his drug use in his music, most notably on songs like “Drug Addiction,” “Opposite” and “Blasian.”

“I feel no pain when I be high and I be fresher than a bitch/ So I pop Perkys, yeah, yeah/ Talkin’ ’bout 30’s, yeah, yeah/ Pour that drink up, yeah, yeah/ Wit’ hydrocodone, yeah, yeah/ I pop ecstasy yeah, yeah/ Half a Xanax, yeah, yeah,” he rapped on the latter.

His drug use also landed him in legal trouble back in 2020 when he and 15 others were arrested at a music video shoot after Baton Rouge police discovered marijuana, Hydrocodone, Xanax and digital scales, along with numerous handguns and rifles.

YoungBoy (real name Kentrell Gaulden) was charged with possession of schedule 1 drugs and released on bail.
