Megan Thee Stallion’s Ex-Friend Kelsey Harris Speaks Out Amid Nicki Minaj Beef

Megan Thee Stallion‘s ex-best friend Kelsey Nicole (who was at the center of the Tory Lanez incident) has spoken out amid Meg’s ongoing beef with Nicki Minaj.

Minaj first brought Kelsey up amid her tirade against Megan over the weekend, calling Meg out for “sleeping with her best friend’s man” – which many took as a reference to Tory.

On Monday (January 29), video of a friend of Kelsey’s remixing the beat to Nicki’s Meg diss “Big Foot” was shared, which Minaj re-posted with, “Oh I am moving to THIS hunty!!!!!! Lemme get this up as an alternate version ASAP chiiii. Might call it: Kelsey’s Revenge.”

Kelsey then explained to a fan who thought he was her husband: “Lol he’s our producer but definitely family & when one eats .. we all eat ! we’re just working.”

As she appears to be working on music, Kelsey then took to her Instagram Story to clarify more.

“Stop hating! We working! Watch how this make mfs tap into the city forreal!!” she wrote. “I was grinding in the city b4 I got on that road. Those that been watching me since 2017 know! When I was on the road, yalls shit was getting turned down every time I tried to make shit happen for y’all! I had to find nice ways to tell y’all it ain’t work out.”

She continued: “I had to say certain things for the h town legends to even be acknowledged forreal! So yea s/o to everyone that turned their back on me, fuck y’all…respectfully. Can’t dim my mf light!! This shit is in my blood! And I don’t owe anyone a mf thang I’m creating a way for me & mine!”

Just months after the shooting incident in 2020, Kelsey Nicole made a song aimed at Megan Thee Stallion after the latter dissed her and Tory Lanez on a track named “Shots Fired.”

Kelsey’s song “Bussin Back” sampled 2Pac’s “Hit ‘Em Up” and found her firing off at Megan for just short of two minutes.

“Who I’m taking shots at? Bitch I’m busting you,” she raps. “Couldn’t control your little feelings/ Look what dick is costing you/ It was all good yeah about a week ago/ Shout out Bobby Shmurda but this bitch is really tweaking tho/ If I was the one with the gun you woulda heard about a murder/ Said her back was turned but the girl know who really hurt her.”

She continues, “Never been a jealous friend and the people really know it/ If you would’vе kept it silent then I would’vе been told it/ See I really thought I knew you, thought that you would keep it G/ If you wanna talk gangsta, bitch I’m really from the street/ Imagine lying to the DA saying I took some hush money/ Put a muzzle on your friends, y’all acting like some crash dummies/ Got my chain snatched? Megan appeared to respond to Kelsey with laughing emojis on Twitter, along with an Instagram video of her listening to “What’s New” with friends while putting their middle fingers up.

“GN from thee besties,” she wrote as the caption, while listening to the lyrics: “Tеll a hater, ‘Fuck you’/They keep comin’, tellin’ me these bitches mad, what’s new?”

Kelsey later took to Instagram Live to address the situation, claiming Megan won’t speak to her in private so she has no choice but to do things publicly.
