Lil Nas X Revisits ‘Nas Maraj’ Era As He Previews Nicki Minaj ‘FTCU’ Remix

Lil Nas X has revisited the days before his music career, taking it back to his early Barbz era to bring fans a Pink Friday 2 remix.

Lil Nas took to Instagram on Thursday (December 14) to preview his “FTCU” remix for fans from the studio. The track will mark his first collab ever with Nicki Minaj if it received an official release.

“Big booty bitches drinking straight out the bottle/I got a big dick he wanna Jack me like Harlow/We gonna fuck this clip up like it ain’t no tomorrow,” he raps.

“Nas said he want his feature Onika,” one fan wrote.

Journalist/rapper Rob Markman added in the comments: “Oh you rappin rappin!”

It’s unclear if Nicki Minaj will authorize this for an official remix as the Gag City Deluxe edition of PF2 already arrived on Friday with features from 50 Cent, Keyshia Cole and Monica.

While Nas proudly waves his Barb flag these days, that wasn’t always the case. Nas X initially hid his Nicki Minaj fandom while he rode “Old Town Road” to mainstream fame.

Before his music took off, he ran a social media account supporting Nicki under the name NasMaraj.

“People will assume if you had an entire fan page dedicated to nicki u are gay,” Nas X responded to a fan in 2020.

Nicki admitted that it stung a bit to find out he was hesitant to go public with his Minaj fandom in the past.

Prior to the “FTCU” remix preview, Nas X had been teasing a pivot into Christian music; but that looks to be at least temporarily on hold for now.
