Halle Bailey & Halle Berry Embrace Each Other At LA Galaxy Soccer Match

Halle Bailey and Halle Berry, who have both been repeatedly confused for one another due to the similarity in their names, finally had the chance to meet each other.

The pair crossed paths at a Los Angeles Galaxy soccer game on Sunday (February 25) and were all smiles as they warmly embraced each other.

“When two Halles link up [grey-heart emoji] truly adore you @hallebailey,” the Academy Award-winning actress captioned a series of photographs of the pair on Instagram.

The younger Halle subsequently hopped in the comments section and wrote: “i was living for this moment!! thank you for being so kind to me you’ve made my life.”

Halle Bailey was out and about this weekend as she attended the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards with her big sister the day before the soccer match.

While on the red carpet with Chloe Bailey, she even opened up about the joys of her being a mother.

“I have never felt more creatively inspired in my whole life,” she told the Associated Press . “This is such a beautiful time for me because I truly feel like I’m venturing into my womanhood. I feel like a woman now, after having a baby. So, it opens up this whole other portal to write about stuff.”

While Chloe also teased new solo that will be “a fusion of all the genres that I love,” she previously suggested that the siblings would be releasing music together as well.

“It feels really, really great,” she told Billboard at the Grammy Awards about her time in the studio with her sister. “It’s just, like, so nostalgic, and reminds us of our days when we did covers on YouTube.”

Though it is unclear if or when fans will receive new solo or joint by the two, their contributions to the arts and entertainment space has certainly received its due recognition.

Earlier this month, Halle Bailey was announced as an honoree at the upcoming Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards.

The event, which will be hosted by Wu-Tang Clan‘s very own Method Man, will honor the Chloe x Halle chanteuse as well as actress Danielle Brooks, screenwriter Nkechi Okoro Carroll and STARZ president of original programming Kathryn Busby.

The awards ceremony will take place on March 7 in Los Angeles, California.
