Cam’ron Poses With Phoenix Suns Owner After Coach Is Fired

Cam’ron has continued to make his presence felt in the NBA universe by posing with Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishiba after his team fired head coach Monty Williams.

On Monday (May 14), Killa Cam posted a picture of him and the billionaire businessman and didn’t waste any time pouring salt on an open wound regarding the vacancy at the Suns head coaching position.

“When you the owner.. you can’t get fired [Shoulder shrug emoji],” Cam’ron said. “Sorry Monte [One tear emoji] but #ItIsWhatItIs.”

According to ESPN, the Phoenix Suns fired Monty Williams on May 13 after the Denver Nuggets eliminated the Suns from the Western Conference semifinals in stunning fashion. Prior to Williams being fired, Mat Ishiba was pushed by Denver Nuggets superstar center Nikola Jokić during Game 4 of the playoff matchup with the Suns.

Cam’ron has been making his rounds within the NBA playoffs and hanging with various Hall of Fame legends of late. Cam and Ma$e recently linked up with NBA legend Isiah Thomas during the playoffs.

Cam dubbed the Detroit Pistons Hall-of-Famer the best point guard ever over the likes of Magic Johnson and Steph Curry as the Harlem native leaned into his sports commentator role for his It Is What It Is talk show.

“We here with the best point guard ever,” Cam’ron said with a laugh alongside Ma$e and Zeke in what could double as a promo for his sports talk show. “Ever, what the fuck is you talking about? Listen, man, ever n-gga. It Is What It Is.”

Ma$e chimed in: “Lace ’em up right now!”

Fans responded in the comment section calling out Cam for his take crowning Isiah as the best point guard to ever live.

“C’mon man… Even I know Magic Johnson was the best PG EVER and he was before my generation,” one person wrote while another said: “Lying to that man on camera is crazy!”

Cam’ron also linked up with NBA legend Grant Hill recently and praised his production skills.

The Dipset member posted a photo and video to Instagram of him and the NBA legend chopping it up. It wouldn’t have been right if Cam’ron didn’t try to recruit Grant Hill to be a host on his sports talk show, It Is What It Is.

“I offered @realgranthill a job at @itiswhatitis_talk (DEATHROW),” Cam said. He laughed and said I can’t afford him yet [one tear emoji] lol..  but on some real shit Grant has some [fire emoji] beats. I’m cop one bro. Appreciate the love.”
