Silk Sonic to Deliver Opening Performance at 2022 Grammys

Silk Sonic have been added to the slate of performers at the Grammys this weekend. They’ll open the show at this year’s ceremony in Las Vegas, ahead of other appearances by Billie Eilish, BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lil Nas X. The program starts on Sunday, April 3, at 8 p.m. Eastern. 

Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars made their TV debut as Silk Sonic at last year’s Grammys, performing “Leave the Door Open” after an elaborate, jokey campaign to get on the show. They’re nominated for four awards this year, with “Leave the Door Open” up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song
