Drake Scores 11th No. 1 Album With Honestly, Nevermind

Drake has landed his 11th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Honestly, Nevermind, which arrived on June 17, earned 204,000 equivalent album units in its first week, with 94% of that sum coming from streaming. The achievement makes Drake the fifth artist to release more than 10 No. 1 albums. He’s in good company; the other artists are the Beatles (with 19 No. 1s), Jay-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen, and Barbra Streisand (each with 11).

Drake surprised fans on the evening of June 16 when he announced that Honestly, Nevermind would arrive just hours later. The 14-track LP debuted with the fourth-largest streaming week for any album in 2022, following Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, and Future’s I Never Liked You.

Honestly, Nevermind includes a sole guest artist—21 Savage on the closing number “Jimmy Cooks.” That song is the album’s most-streamed cut, according to Billboard. The LP is Drake’s 14th full-length that has shot to the top 10 in on the Billboard 200, starting with 2009’s So Far Gone. He has reached the top 10 every year since except for 2012 and 2014.

Following the release of his new record, Drake shared a music video for “Falling Back.” In the visual, which is directed by Director X and features a cameo from Tristan Thompson, Drake marries 23 women.
