Rammstein Release New Single “Zick Zack” via Grotesque Music Video

Earlier this week, we reported that Rammstein would be dropping their new single “Zick Zack” today. Now, you can check out the song via a truly grotesque music video.

As far as the track goes, “Zick Zack” is a cool, creepy club song that somehow makes one feel uneasy the whole time. But it’s the video, with its sardonic explorations of plastic surgery, glamour, and how we treat our favorite stars as they age out of mainstream fuckability, that really hits home. In that way, it keeps with the album’s theme of ‘Zeit,’ or ‘time,’ illustrating how age affects the way we see each other. Plus, God DAMN, whoever did the make-up for this deserves an award.
