Deftones Post More New Album Teases

Last Friday, the Deftones updated their online presence in a manner which would suggest the pending arrival of their new album, which frontman Chino Moreno previously said was tentatively slated for September. Some enterprising fans were able to sleuth out from the source code of the band’s website some additional clues that pointed in that direction.

The band has since continued with more teases. For starters, the “circuitboard” image on their website that on Friday was sparsely decorated, has now been filled in a bit to something resembling a face:

That image sits in a web directory titled “0925,” lending credence to the speculated September 25 release date.

The band also posted a brief video teaser on their social networks with the phrase “No you will never find me” displayed:

On top of all of that, some superfans have reported seeing new lyrics pop up on the visualizers that accompany some of the band’s older songs on Spotify.

Presumably all of this will make sense very soon, maybe even this week… maybe even today!
