DaBaby & Billion Dollar Baby ENT Hosting Music Industry Job Fair
Charlotte, NC – Once considered a blip on the rap radar, North Carolina has emerged as Hip Hop hotspot in recent years thanks to artistic strides from the likes of J. Cole, Rapsody and Morray.
And, of course, DaBaby.
The 2019 HipHopDX Rapper Of The Year has amassed a pair of No. 1 albums and millions of streams in short order and he’s looking to help his Charlotte roots obtain music industry insight that typically benefits bigger regions like New York City, Los Angeles and Houston.
On Friday (April 9), DaBaby and his Billion Dollar Baby imprint announced a paid intern job fair for a myriad of industry jobs.
From 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Monday (April 12), Hilton Charlotte University Place will be the staging ground for “marketing & analytics experts, masters of networking & communication, personal assistants, potential artist management, website development, graphic design, cinematographers, photographers” hopefuls.
Participants are encouraged to bring their résumés and positive attitudes!
DaBaby went live on Instagram with his record label’s official handle and put out the bat signal.
“We pretty much expanding with the company and we’re building an empire,” DaBaby told the digital audience on Friday.
Although the event isn’t designed to recruit artists, future BDB interns will have their hands full with the versatile raper roster of Stunna 4 Vegas, KayyKilo, Rich Dunk, Wisdom and studio Swiss Army Knife, DJ K.I.D.
