Blueface & Blxst Make Last Push For 2021 West Coast Rap Anthem With ‘Chose Me’ Single

2021 HipHopDX Rising Star Blxst has been one of the lead voices when it comes to R&B in Los Angeles. Along with selling out his No Love Lost tour, the “Searching” vocalist also found his song “Gang Slide” as the theme song to HBO Max’s reality series Sweet Life: Los Angeles. Before 2021 wraps, Blxst is linking with fellow Cali native Blueface for “Chose Me,” a bouncy new single which Blxst also produced.

“I didn’t choose this lifestyle, it just chose me,” Blxst sings on the chorus. Blueface echoes the relaxed sentiment by rapping about entertaining old flames and laughing off Shade Room comments.

The single follows recent Blueface tracks “TikTok Remix” featuring Justina Valentine, “B!TCH#S” and the viral hit “Outside” (Better Days)” featuring OG Bobby Billions.

Blueface Accused Of Bouncer Beatdown After Trying To Prove His Celebrity With Google

Despite Blueface preparing to release his third album in 2022, outlandish situations continue to follow the “Thotiana” rapper. In September, the rapper and his entourage were captured on video allegedly beating a bouncer inside a club in the San Fernando Valley. The rapper currently has an outstanding warrant for his arrest for the alleged assault, according to TMZ.
