SZA Shares 3 New Songs: Listen

SZA has released three new tracks via an anonymous SoundCloud account, as Stereogum points out. “Nightbird,” “I Hate You,” and “Joni” were uploaded earlier today (August 22). The account is credited to “.” and based in “nowhere, United States,” however SZA shared a link to the page via her official Twitter this morning. “Dumping random thoughts,” she wrote in the post. SZA teased a snippet of another single titled “Shirt” last month during a livestream event. The self-released new tracks follow “Hit Different”—her 2020 comeback single with Ty Dolla $ign—and the subsequent cut “Good Days.” Earlier this year, she joined Doja Cat for the song “Kiss Me More,” and linked up with SAINt JHN for their Space Jam: A New Legacy track “Just for Me.” Earlier today, SZA responded to a fan on Twitter asking about “Shirt.” “She nex,” SZA wrote.
