Love as Laughter’s Sam Jayne Is Missing

Sam Jayne, the indie musician best known as the frontman of Love as Laughter and Lync, has been reported missing, a spokesperson for the NYPD tells Pitchfork. According to social media posts from friends and his Love as Laughter bandmate Zeke Howard, Jayne was last seen on Sunday, December 6, and last heard from on Monday, December 7.

According to Howard and others, Jayne drives a maroon Chevrolet Tahoe with the New York license plates KGL9417. Howard is asking people to call or text 646-339-7634 if they see Sam Jayne. In addition, he is asking people to email [email protected] with actionable information about Jayne’s wherabouts.

According to an Instagram Post from Clem’s Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYPD Detective William M. Jewels is working on finding Jayne. The post indicates you can reach out to Det. Jewels at 718-318-4223 if you know anything about Jayne’s situation.
