Ariana Grande to Perform With Lady Gaga at 2020 MTV VMAs

Ariana Grande will perform alongside Lady Gaga at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards on August 30, marking the debut live performance of their joint single “Rain on Me,” which appears on Gaga’s most recent studio LP Chromatica. Grande announced the news via Instagram earlier today (August 18). Find her post below.

Lady Gaga released “Rain on Me” back in May, along with a futuristic visual. Last week, it was announced that Lady Gaga would be one of the lead performers at this year’s VMAs, in addition to the Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Maluma, and others.

The 2020 VMAs are scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, August 30. The live performances will take place at different New York locations. (MTV and Barclays Center had previously planned to host the event at the Brooklyn venue but recently decided against it.) The 2020 VMAs will be hosted by Keke Palmer.
