Portland Protestors Shout Rage Against the Machine Lyrics at Federal Agents

In case you somehow haven’t heard, shit in Portland, Oregon is currently very, very fucked up. Black Lives Matter protests, inspired by the murder of George Floyd, have been ongoing, as they have been around most of the country. After some fairly minor damage was done to a federal courthouse earlier this month, our Very Stable Genius-in-Chief directed the Department of Homeland Security to up the presence of federal agents in the city. Some of those agents reportedly showed up in unmarked vehicles and arrested protestors without first identifying themselves. In other words, America finally has its own Gestapo! HUZZAH!

Needless to say, the good people of Portland aren’t letting this shit scare them, and the protests continue unabated despite the influx goons.

Now Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello has shared video of some of those protestors shouting lyrics from “Killing in the Name” — specifically “Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me” — at the city’s unwanted federal agents.

Loudwire has subsequently collected some other videos of Portland protestors using the same song as an anthem, which you can view below. The videos were captured by right wing YouTubers who seemingly intended to make the left look bad. Alas, the joke is on them! As this commenter put it:
